Location
The Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is centrally located on the Strip, forming part of the City Center complex. It shares this prime location with neighboring hotels such as Aria, The Cosmopolitan, and Vdara. The elegant lobby of the hotels greets you with a minimalist feel, that almost feels residential as opposed to a tourist attraction.
Privacy, peace, and quiet are the name of the game here.
Rooms
The rooms at Waldorf Astoria Vegas exude luxury and sophistication, despite hovering around the 500-square-feet range. The Strip View King Room, in particular, stands out as one of the nicest Vegas hotel rooms among their standard rooms. Dark wood motifs, spacious layouts, and a dedicated wardrobe area contribute to the overall opulence.
The beds are very soft, with goose-down pillows and duvets and luxurious white linens.
The bathroom features a modern freestanding tub and a comfortable separate shower. The room also includes a work desk, a chair by the window, and amenities like Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries.
It’s not a huge hotel (there are fewer than 400 rooms), but the service is first class.
Restaurants / Bars
Dining options at Waldorf Astoria are relatively limited due to its smaller size. The all-day dining option is Zen Kitchen, located on the third floor. The Tea Lounge, located off the 23rd-floor lobby, serves up a traditional high tea with tiered trays of little sandwiches, scones and sweets, and comes with a long menu of amazing and rare teas.
At night, Hotel Bar has the absolute best views of the Strip!
Casino
Notably, Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas does not have a casino. Which can be a really good thing for some! The absence of a casino offers a quiet retreat that is still seconds away from the loud and rambunctious Vegas scene.
Having said that, its central location in City Center provides easy access to nearby casinos such as Aria, Park MGM, and Cosmopolitan, all within a 5-minute walk.
Pools/Spa
The Waldorf Astoria Vegas boasts a tranquil pool experience, with a main pool and an additional adults-only pool, both of which are both inviting and private.
The fitness center is spacious and well-equipped, providing a great option for guests seeking workout facilities. There are chilled towels, bottled water, and fresh fruit for all your post-workout recovery needs, too!
The spa, located on the 8th floor, offers a Forbes-rated experience with impressive views of the Strip, various amenities, and a range of treatments.
