Looking for the perfect way to spend a Sunday in Las Vegas? While Sundays can often be boring, lazy days at home, Sundays are anything but boring in Vegas. Sunday Scaries are hardly even a thing here, especially because there’s so much fun to be had!

Whether you’re in the mood for a seafood champagne brunch or a high-energy pool party, you’ll find it in Vegas. If you’re ready to discover how to make the most of your weekend in Sin City, here’s our list of all the fun things to do in Vegas on a Sunday.

Go to a pool party

While nightclubs tend to be a little slower on Sunday nights compared to Thursday to Saturday nights, dayclubs are still pretty lively come Sunday afternoons!

Many Las Vegas resorts host lively pool parties on Sundays, so popping into a dayclub before catching your nighttime flight outta Vegas is totally doable. Popular dayclubs you could check out include Encore Beach Club, Marquee Dayclub, DAYLIGHT, and Wet Republic.

Marquee Drenched After Dark

Drenched After Dark is Marquee’s weekly event that offers club-goers a chance to cool down in the pool while listening to some of the hottest DJs in the city. You can dress it up or dress it down (swim attire is okay!), it’s entirely up to you. The night features bottle service, making it the perfect way to end or begin your week.

Marquee is located at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, so getting a slice of Secret Pizza is the perfect way to end your night out!

Oasis Cinema Club at Fontainebleau

Sunday nights are movie nights at Fontainebleau Las Vegas this spring and summer, as the Strip’s newest luxury resort and casino announces its inaugural Oasis Cinema Club series.

Held during the warmer months (May to Sept), hotel guests and Las Vegas locals can enjoy a lineup of classic comedies, blockbusters, and family favorites on an outdoor projection screen on the resort’s lavish Grand Pool Deck.

You can find the season’s movie schedule here.

Gospel Brunch at House of Blues

Get your Sunday started right with the Gospel Brunch at Mandalay Bay’s House of Blues, where gospel music is guaranteed to raise your spirits. This unique experience combines a joyous musical performance with an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet featuring Southern-inspired favorites.

Expect a variety of food stations offering freshly carved roast beef, classic biscuits & gravy, and an omelet station loaded with meats and veggies. Don’t miss the chicken & waffles and creamy grits either. The buffet also includes a selection of other Southern dishes such as salads, greens, beans, meats, BBQ chicken, and sliced fruit, along with a variety of desserts.

The brunch is included with the show, making it a perfect way to enjoy great food and fantastic music on a Sunday morning. While Gospel Brunch doesn’t take place every single Sunday, it is held a couple of Sundays per month throughout the year so you might be able to catch one.

Have an AYCE brunch at a hotel buffet

Sundays in Las Vegas are perfect for indulging in an all-you-can-eat brunch at one of the city’s iconic hotel buffets. Sundays are an especially good day to enjoy a buffet because that’s when the special seafood menu becomes available! Sundays are also one of the few days of the week where you can enjoy Champagne Brunch too!

Enjoy a wide variety of gourmet dishes, from fresh seafood to made-to-order omelets, and everything in between. Top picks include The Buffet at Wynn, known for their seafood-forward menu, and Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan, known for its creative small plates.

On Sundays, you’ll find regular restaurants also serving special brunch menus. Anthony’s Prime Steak & Seafood at M Resort Spa and Casino is a really good option! They have fresh fish (flown in daily), full lobster tails, dry-aged or wet-aged prime cut filet, ribeye, New York strip steaks, and lots more.

Post up at the sportsbook for a game

Spending Sunday at a Las Vegas sportsbook can either be laidback or crazy — depending on what game you’re watching. During football season, you can catch all the NFL action on massive screens, surrounded by fellow fans and the lively atmosphere of a top-notch betting venue.

The Circa Resort & Casino boasts one of the largest sportsbooks in town — plus at their Stadium Swim, you could watch the game and lounge poolside at the same damn time.

Enjoy Durango’s swanky new pool and cocktail bar

Bel-Aire Backyard, Durango Casino’s brand-spankin’-new backyard pool area, invites guests to indulge in the ultimate poolside oasis. With more than 65,000 square feet, the backyard will host live DJ sets from noon to sunset from Thursdays through Sundays as well as Friday sunset parties.

The 7,200-square-foot pool houses 13 cabanas, 46 daybeds, and nearly 60 chaise lounges — set just above the water. The whole venue is a vibe, instantly transporting you into hip, ritzy, and glam part of Los Angeles. It almost feels like a movie set!

If you get hungry, The Backyard Grill caters to the pool area with many creative menu items like miso sea bass lettuce cups, watermelon and cucumber salad, crab and avocado salad, and sushi dishes.

On Sundays, you’ll find their epic Poolside brunch with a high-energy party atmosphere, perfect for those of you celebrating birthdays or bachelorette parties!

Discover the psychedelic world of Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart

Described as the weirdest and most psychedelic grocery store, Omega Mart is an art installation where everything, including the quirky items on display, is available for purchase.

This other-worldly art exhibit invites participants of all ages to step into new and surreal worlds, where storytelling takes on a trippy and playful form. Expect the unexpected as you navigate through the Omega Mart “supermarket”. Take your time discovering secret portals, exploring landscapes that defy imagination, and losing yourself in the artistry that went into making such a bizarrely cool installation.

Within the whimsical aisles of Omega Mart where random and hilarious products are stocked lies a hidden gem – the Datamosh Bar. Tucked away within the exhibition, this secret speakeasy bar makes your adventure here that much better!

Even though this exhibit is on the pricier side compared to other attractions at AREA15, it’s still the best bang for your buck if you consider its size and how long on average people take to get through the experience (you’ll need about 2-3 hours).

Your experience will be equal parts glitchy, campy, and colorful!

See a Las Vegas show

Las Vegas has a world-class theater scene. If you haven’t had the chance to catch a show during your weekend trip, Sunday is the day to do it!

From burlesque to magic, Cirque de Soleil to comedy, there is a show for every type of person and every sort of budget. Here are three fun Las Vegas shows with Sunday showtimes:

  • Absinthe at Caesars Palace – This adult-themed circus variety show combines outrageous comedy, daring acrobatics, and burlesque.
  • Mystère by Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island – A family-friendly show that blends powerful acrobatics, dynamic dance, and imaginative imagery.
  • Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil at Mandalay Bay – A thrilling tribute to the King of Pop, combining dance, music, and acrobatics to celebrate Michael Jackson’s legacy.

You can explore Las Vegas’ top show offerings here.

Do an escape room

Escape rooms are all the rage these days. In an escape room experience, you’ll gather your friends, solve puzzles, and enjoy a unique and fun-filled activity that challenges your mind and teamwork skills.

If you’ve tried one before, just know that the ones in Las Vegas are next level. If you’re into a slight horror mix, try the IT-themed (yes, the scary clown) or SAW-themed escape rooms for an extra fun experience — especially if someone in your group gets scared super easily.

For less scary options, check out Number 1 Escape Room and Escapology, which often offer pretty steep discounts on Groupon. Both have amazing reviews and have really immersive rooms!

Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club

Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club is the epitome of laughter and entertainment in Las Vegas. This premier venue is located at  LINQ Hotel + Experience, and brings together the brightest stars in stand-up comedy, alongside emerging talents from across the nation.

If you find yourself in Vegas on a Sunday night, you’ll be able to catch a show there. There are shows daily with two showtimes — at 7:30pm & 9:30pm. Tickets start at $25, which is not bad at all.

Other comedy club venues in Vegas are The Comedy Cellar at Rio, Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at MGM Grand, and LA Comedy Club at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod. These comedy clubs have featured some of the biggest names in comedy, and it wouldn’t be out of the question for a famous comic to show up on a Sunday show!

Walk the Strip

Bellagio Fountain Show

If you’ve managed to spend most of your weekend partying, watching sports, and gambling your time away, Sunday is a really great time to walk the Strip and enjoy the hotel attractions, shops, spas, etc.

This is the perfect opportunity to see and do all the iconic Las Vegas attractions you’ve had on your list, such as seeing the Bellagio Fountain show, cruising on a gondola ride at The Venetian, ziplining on Fly LINQ, riding all the roller coasters and rides in town, and more.

If you’re daring enough, head to the north side of the Strip to try out the hair-raising SkyJump at The STRAT. This heart-pumping open-air bungee jump will see you hurtling at speeds of up to 40mph from a height of 855 feet!

Explore the Arts District

Arts Factory Arts District Las Vegas

If you’re open to exploring beyond the Las Vegas Strip, visit the 18b Arts District for unique galleries, boutiques, and local eateries. Start your day at Vesta Coffee Roasters or Bungalow Coffee Co., then stroll through the streets and discover the eclectic mix of art installations, vintage shops, and brunch spots.

The area often hosts special events and markets on Sundays, featuring local artists, live music, and food trucks. It’s a perfect spot to soak in the local culture and enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring the diverse and artistic side of Las Vegas!

Play bingo

Bingo is no longer for seniors these days. We personally love playing bingo in Vegas whenever we’re trying to have a low-key and chill time in town.

Playing bingo is a fun way to spend your Sunday mornings and afternoons. Enjoy the excitement of waiting for your numbers to be called, the camaraderie with fellow players, and the potential for some great winnings — we’ve seen people singlehandedly winning $300+ per bingo. It makes us think we could be next!

With games happening every odd hour throughout the day, you can easily fit a session into your schedule. Plus, with the two free drinks that come with your bingo cards at most of the bingo halls, you can even pre-game before your dinner or nighttime activity.

If you play at Palace Station, you can stop by Oyster Bar for their famous Pan Roast!

Pamper yourself at a world-class spa

If you’re a sucker for hydrotherapy pools, massages, and relaxation, you can’t come to Vegas without enjoying at least one spa treatment. And with so many high-end hotels here, you are spoiled with choice when it comes to world-class spa treatments.

The top three in our book are:

Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace: Qua Baths & Spa offers an opulent spa with Roman-inspired treatments including an Arctic Ice room.

Sahra Spa & Hammam at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas: A luxurious and modern hammam (Turkish bath) experience.

Canyon Ranch Spa at The Venetian: This award-winning spa has the super cool Aquavana thermal suite. There’s even a 40-foot rock-climbing wall and a 25-yard indoor lap pool. It has been awarded the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star rating multiple times and has consistently been named one of the top spas in the world by Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure.
