Planning a bachelor party weekend in Vegas? You’re in for an epic time!
There’s a reason why Las Vegas is featured as a bachelor party destination in the movies. It’s the gold standard when it comes to fun and debauchery with your friends!
It’s got every flavor of bachelor party you could imagine — if your group’s into gorging on buffets and drinking til y’all black/brown out, Vegas will deliver. Into adrenaline-pumping adventures? Eating pizza and watching sports? Vegas has everything you need to make the groom’s last hurrah unforgettable.
Here are 25 fun things to do for a bachelor party weekend in Vegas that will have you and your crew talking for years.
1. Drive exotic cars on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Ever wanted to feel what it feels like to put the pedal to the metal in a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, or Corvette race car? Several companies in Las Vegas let you turn your videogame dreams into reality by offering supercar driving experiences.
Yes, you and the guys can actually hop inside racecars and other high-end vehicles and race them around the track!
Exotics Racing and Dream Racing are both well-known companies that provide unbeatable supercar driving experiences. The experiences include classroom instruction, practice laps, and the opportunity to push the limits on the track.
2. Watch a bachelor party-friendly show
Las Vegas has a world-class theater scene. From burlesque to magic, Cirque de Soleil to comedy, there is a show for every type of group with every sort of budget. And the best part is, there’s a show happening every single night in Vegas.
Our top show recommendations for both bachelor and bachelorette parties are Absinthe or Atomic Saloon Show, but if you’re into something more sexy and scantily-clad, Vegas has lots of those types of shows as well!
3. Play a round of golf at Topgolf
If golfing with your guys is your idea of a perfect afternoon out in Vegas, then Topgolf can be a great place to celebrate a bachelor party in Vegas. People also love coming here at night too, if that’s more your thing.
Topgolf features a high-tech driving range with interactive games that cater to all skill levels. It provides a fun and engaging way to enjoy golf, even for those who may not be avid golfers.
Beyond golfing, Topgolf often has live entertainment, music, and other activities perfect for lounging around or socializing. There’s a sports bar and a restaurant here too (and the food is supposed to be really good), so you can spend hours on end here without needing to leave to find food or drinks.
This Topgolf also has private event spaces that can be reserved for special occasions, allowing you to throw a more personalized and private celebration.
4. Post up at the sportsbook for a game
Catching a game at a Las Vegas sportsbook can either be laidback or crazy — depending on what game you’re watching.
The Circa Resort & Casino boasts one of the largest sportsbooks in town — plus at their Stadium Swim, you could watch the game and lounge poolside at the same damn time.
5. Catch a game at Stadium Swim
We hinted at this one above, but it needs to be known — Stadium Swim is a really exciting addition to Las Vegas!
This cutting-edge, multi-level pool amphitheater is situated at the Circa Resort & Casino. This is the place you’ll wanna go to if your bachelor party dates coincide with a sporting event you guys want to catch on TV!
Stadium Swim has a stadium-style seating design with a massive high-definition screen, offering an immersive poolside viewing experience for sports events, concerts, and more. The venue features six temperature-controlled pools, two swim-up bars, and a massive 143-foot-long screen, making it the largest pool screen in the world.
The cool thing about Stadium Swim is that you don’t need to be a hotel guest to attend. They sell general admission tickets (entry for one person) or you could even reserve daybeds and cabanas for you and the whole crew for the whole day (9:00 am-7:00 pm).
If you’re staying at Circa, you have free access to Stadium Swim included in your room rate.
6. Get competitive at Play Playground
Play Playground, one of Vegas’ newest attractions at The Luxor, offers a 15,000-square-foot gaming/play experience featuring over 20 larger-than-life nostalgic games. The venue, designed for friendly competition and social media sharing, boasts physical, memory, puzzle, and team games, ensuring a day (or night) of good ol’ fashioned fun with your friends!
From Perfect Popper, a game reminiscent of the board game “Perfection,” to Ringer Run, where players navigate a wand through a hanging maze, and Biggle Ball, a collaborative effort to guide a ball through a massive maze—the variety of team games promises an interactive experience full of laughs.
7. Enjoy Durango’s swanky new pool and cocktail bar
Bel-Aire Backyard, Durango Casino’s brand-spankin’-new backyard pool area, invites guests to indulge in the ultimate poolside oasis. With more than 65,000 square feet, the backyard will host live DJ sets from noon to sunset from Thursdays through Sundays as well as Friday sunset parties.
The 7,200-square-foot pool houses 13 cabanas, 46 daybeds, and nearly 60 chaise lounges — set just above the water. The whole venue is a vibe, instantly transporting you into hip, ritzy, and glam part of Los Angeles. It almost feels like a movie set!
If you get hungry, The Backyard Grill caters to the pool area with many creative menu items like miso sea bass lettuce cups, watermelon and cucumber salad, crab and avocado salad, and sushi dishes.
On Sundays, you’ll find their epic Poolside brunch with a high-energy party atmosphere, perfect for people celebrating something special.
8. Watch top DJs spinning at a pool party
If you’re celebrating that bachelor party of yours between the months of April and October, then a dayclub is a Vegas itinerary must!
If your idea of an awesome daytime activity includes lounging around the pool, dancing to live music played by top DJs, drinking summer cocktails, and gorging on delicious poolside chicken tenders, then you’ll probably want to plan to hit up a day club on your Vegas trip!
Encore Beach Club at Encore Las Vegas, Daylight at Mandalay Bay, Ayu Dayclub at Resorts World, TAO Beach Club at The Venetian, and WET Republic at MGM Grand are some of the most sought-after pool parties across the Strip.
If you want to live it up Vegas-style and have the budget for it, book a cabana and treat the groom to the ultimate dayclub experience.
9. Party it up at the nightclub
Clubbing is probably the #1 thing bachelor parties do in Las Vegas! Celebrate that groom-to-be with a night of drinking, dancing, and vibing at Las Vegas clubs like XS at Encore, Zouk at Resorts World, OMNIA at Caesars Palace, or Marquee at The Cosmopolitan.
If it’s 4 am and you find the clubs closing but you’re not yet ready to turn down, head to Drai’s After Hours at The Cromwell for even more partying.
10. Go to a speakeasy and distillery tour at The Mob Museum
The Mob Museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in the history of mobs, organized crime, and law enforcement. What most people don’t know is that The Mob Museum is so much more than a place to learn about mob history.
Inside, you’ll find a cool distillery where you can take a fun tour and taste different spirits, including their own moonshine. This moonshine is the real deal—made with 100% corn and bottled at a strong 50% ABV.
There’s also a speakeasy that feels straight out of the Prohibition era, where you can sip on amazing cocktails in a hidden, vintage bar. With all that fun housed inside just one spot, The Mob Museum is a no-brainer when it comes to a great daytime activity for your bachelor party.
Feeling lazy? You could also get whiskey tastings to come to you! The Whiskey Attic offers bachelor party specials designed to enlighten and entertain while also allowing you to sample some of the finest whiskeys out there.
11. Survive a horror-themed escape room
Escape rooms are all the rage these days. In an escape room experience, you’ll gather your friends, solve puzzles, and enjoy a unique and fun-filled activity that challenges your mind and teamwork skills.
If you’ve tried one before, just know that the ones in Las Vegas are next level. If you’re into a slight horror mix, try the IT-themed (yes, the scary clown) or SAW-themed escape rooms for an extra fun experience — especially if someone in your group gets scared super easily!
There’s also another highly-rated horror-themed escape room called The Basement, with unbelievable realism and live performers. Once you master this one, try out the sequel room called The Study!
For less scary options, check out Number 1 Escape Room and Escapology, which often offer pretty steep discounts on Groupon. Both have amazing reviews and have really immersive rooms!
12. Celebrate the groom with a group dinner
The dining scene in Las Vegas is some of the best in the world. Not exaggerating at all here!
In the mood for a steak-heavy meal? Our top picks are Golden Steer, Bazaar Meat by José Andrés, and Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak. Rather have a casual experience instead? We love Carmine’s or Happy Camper Pizza for that!
13. Have an AYCE brunch at a hotel buffet
Weekends in Las Vegas are perfect for indulging in an all-you-can-eat buffet at one of the city’s iconic hotels. Saturdays and Sundays are especially good days to enjoy a buffet because that’s when the special seafood menus become available!
Enjoy a wide variety of gourmet dishes, from fresh seafood to made-to-order omelets, and everything in between. Top picks include The Buffet at Wynn, known for their seafood-forward menu, and Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan, known for its creative small plates.
On Sundays, you’ll find regular restaurants also serving special brunch menus. Anthony’s Prime Steak & Seafood at M Resort Spa and Casino is a really good option! They have fresh fish (flown in daily), full lobster tails, dry-aged or wet-aged prime cut filet, ribeye, New York strip steaks, and lots more.
14. Do the all-you-can-drink package on the High Roller
Start your night out with the guys with the all-you-can-drink package on the High Roller Observation Wheel at The LINQ, one of the world’s tallest wheels. In fact, you can swap out the rooftop bar for the High Roller because this ride offers some of the best sky-high viewpoints of the Las Vegas Strip!
The open bar package (Happy Half Hour) allows you to enjoy unlimited drinks for the full 30-minute ride.
15. Enjoy a night of laughter at a comedy show
For a darn good time, we’d recommend going to a comedy show while you’re in Vegas. Three of the best comedy club venues in Vegas are The Comedy Cellar at Rio, Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at MGM Grand, and LA Comedy Club at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod.
These comedy clubs have featured some of the biggest names in comedy (like Aziz Ansari and Tiffany Haddish), so you may very well come across a special guest that you’ve seen on TV performing at these clubs!
Plus, with most tickets clocking in at under $30 USD, they’re just about the most affordable shows you’ll find in town.
16. Be wowed by a show at The Sphere
If you and the guys are into new technology, science fiction movies, and talking robots, you’ll want to add Sphere to your bachelor weekend itinerary.
When it’s not hosting concerts, the venue becomes The Sphere Experience, a two-part multi-sensory experience lasting approximately two hours. In all honesty, it’s two hours of immersive amazement.
First, you’ll get to explore The Atrium. Interact with humanoid robots, check out the 50-foot holographic installation, and enjoy interactive demonstrations of some of the tech used at Sphere.
About 45 minutes later, The Sphere Experience continues in the main venue bowl with a multi-sensory cinematic experience at an unparalleled scale – Darren Aronofsky’s Postcard from Earth. This specially commissioned film is a sci-fi portrait of our planet, leveraging Sphere’s cutting-edge technologies to transport you to new worlds without ever leaving your seat.
17. Play unlimited arcade games at Game Nest
This one’s perfect for gamers! Whenever Papu and I are in town, we always make time to spend a few hours at Game Nest Arcade. Game Nest is a pay-by-the-hour arcade. You pay one fixed price and get hours of unlimited gameplay at top arcade games!
If you love overpriced arcade games (like Dance Dance Revolution, Time Crisis, Mario Kart, Air Hockey, Jurassic Park, etc.), then head here to play until you just can’t play anymore. Everything is on free play, so once you’re in, you can play whatever you like.
They also have an area where you can plan Xbox One, PS5, and Nintendo Switch (all of which are also included in the hourly price).
18. Spend your evening at AREA15
AREA15 is a fantastic, laid-back spot to spend a night of your bachelor party weekend.
This massive entertainment complex offers a variety of super immersive activities for groups of guys, including the Asylum Bar + Arcade, where you can enjoy strong drinks, throwback music, and retro games, and axe throwing at Dueling Axes for some competitive fun. Test your swing at Five Iron Golf, or explore a handful of other immersive exhibits and attractions.
Learn more about the current exhibits here (many of them require separate tickets, but they also have combo passes). If special events and concerts are what you’re after, check out their events calendar to see what’s happening during the dates of your trip to Vegas.
19. Enjoy Vegas by rooftop at the Foundation Room
For a rather upscale nightlife experience, head to Mandalay Bay’s Foundation Room, a sister venue of House of Blues. Foundation Room is a rooftop venue on the 63rd floor of the hotel, complete with cushy seating, wooden walls, and overhead chandeliers. It’s a whole vibe up there!
Once you make your way up to the tippy-top of the hotel, you can choose to relax in the indoor lounge area or step outside to the outdoor patio for a true Vegas rooftop experience. The Foundation Room features live music and entertainment, with a lineup of talented DJs and performers. If you’re looking for a more exclusive bachelor party experience, you can reserve a private room or table for your group.
You can choose to pair your epic Las Vegas Strip views with food or drink, or both! Expect both the food and drinks to be super creative and delicious.
20. Grab a pint at Ri Ra Irish Pub
Also located at Mandalay Bay (at The Shoppes between the Luxor and Mandalay Bay), Ri Ra Irish Pub is where you go to dine on dishes such as Irish potato cakes and the Reuben with corned beef brisket — all while enjoying live entertainment!
The bar/restaurant is set up to look like an Irish pub and there is a Guinness Store next door you can browse through for gifts/souvenirs. The store houses the largest collection of merchandise outside of Ireland!
21. Ride ATVs through the Mojave Desert
For guys who love a little outdoor adventure, we’d recommend scheduling in an ATV ride through the Mojave. With this 3-hour guided tour, you can enjoy a desert ride by ATV on a tour of the Mojave Desert trails with full pickup and drop-off service, a detailed safety demonstration, and all equipment included.
The shuttle will pick you up at Mandalay Bay (shuttle and tour pickup) and transport you to the premier riding location in the Mojave Desert. Once there, dawn your safety gear and enjoy a step-by-step orientation on how to ride your ATV.
Then, let the excitement begin! Your guide will lead you on an hour-long journey into the desert where you’ll be able to enjoy rugged trails and sweet desert views. After your ride, you’ll be transported back to reality with a little dust and a lot of memories.
22. Take a helicopter tour of the Strip
While we’ll admit this is not an activity that your average traveler partakes in, celebrating a bachelor before his wedding day is a special occasion and warrants a special activity. If a budget is of no concern to your group, treat the groom to an epic helicopter tour of the Las Vegas Strip.
The flight at night is especially beautiful with all the lights!
Don’t want to pay full price? Neither do we. Check out this list of current deals + discounts on Las Vegas Strip helicopter tours.
23. Take a morning hike at Red Rock Canyon
If you’re looking for the perfect outdoor adventure that’s not too far away from the Las Vegas Strip, Red Rock Canyon is where it’s at. Red Rock Canyon is locally famous for its rock formations in many shades of red, brown, and orange — which look oh so good against a backdrop of clear blue skies.
We like to go there for the hiking. There are both easy and challenging trails to choose from, making this a great option if you want to burn off all those Las Vegas buffet calories. Some of the most popular hikes here include the Calico Tanks Trail (2.2 miles roundtrip), Turtlehead Peak Trail (4.6 miles roundtrip), and Ice Box Canyon Trail (2.3 miles roundtrip).
If you’d rather not deal with the logistics of how to get there (or want to visit the park without hiking), there are various tour companies that will handle all the logistics and show you the park in all its glory.
24. Enjoy country music at Ole Red
How does listening to live country music all day sound? Ole Red Las Vegas, situated at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, promises an unforgettable honky-tonk experience.
This lifestyle and entertainment brand, inspired by Blake Shelton’s clever hit song, “Ol’ Red”, now has a location right here in Vegas. Since its opening in early 2024, it has become a home base for country music lovers.
The venue’s first and second floors offer a relaxed dining atmosphere during the day and transform into a lively honky-tonk complete with dance floors and VIP areas at night. The third floor provides a sophisticated lounge space for overflow dining and private events, while the rooftop offers a swanky restaurant environment by day and a luxurious lounge experience by night.
The main stage features a 40-foot screen, giving you a kick-ass country experience no matter where you sit. If you’re looking for a more exclusive party, then the rooftop stage is for you.
Go line dancing at Gilley’s Saloon
Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que invites you to step into a world where the Wild West meets Vegas flair. Grab a seat on a saddle at the bar, order up some barbecue, and get ready to two-step and line dance the night away to the tunes of a live band.
Fuel up for a ride on the mechanical bull by first chowing down on some baby back ribs, a hearty cowboy burger, and spicy chili. Or, if you want to throw back some cold beers while two-stepping and line-dancing with your partner on the wood floor without much regard, you can do that too.
Oh, did we mention that line dancing lessons are also provided every day for free? Ya can’t beat this perk!
Gilly’s BBQ opens every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With its lively atmosphere and down-home hospitality, Gilley’s promises a really good time each and every night.
