The Palazzo at The Venetian

⭐️ Verdict: BEST OVERALL

Price Range: $$$

The Palazzo at The Venetian is hands down one of the best hotels for large groups on the Las Vegas Strip. Even their most standard 2-queen suite (720 sq ft) is large enough to host a party of 6.

If you’ve got more than 6 in the party, you can easily book 2 separate rooms and request adjoining rooms. With two adjoining rooms, you can already accommodate 12.

Plus, there are a ton of bachelor party hotspots within walking distance of the hotel, including some of the best clubs in Las Vegas (like XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club).

Pros

Standard rooms are already massive

High-end hotel = elevated experience

Close to top clubs (XS, EBC, TAO)

Many great onsite dining options

Cons

It’s a more expensive hotel

Higher minimums for table games

Less central (on the northern end of the Strip)

Palazzo - Best Hotels On Las Vegas Strip With Free Parking
Courtesy of The Venetian Las Vegas

The Palazzo is a sister tower to The Venetian and a luxurious resort in its own right. There are two options: the standard Luxury Suites and the Prestige Suites. Similar to what you’d get with The Venetian, you don’t need to spend very much to get a massive room!

Bachelor party-perfect dining options at The Palazzo (and next door at The Venetian) are plentiful and include CUT by Wolfgang Puck, Delmonico Steakhouse, Mott 32, WAKUDA, and Bouchon. The one we’d recommend most though, is COTE, America’s first and only Korean Steakhouse with a Michelin star!

For those ready to party it up, you’ll find TAO Beach Dayclub and Nightclub at The Venetian (which is practically The Palazzo). There are also has several onsite bars and lounges for laidback nightlife and entertainment, including Bar Luca, Electra Cocktail Club, and Rosina.

You can also head to their onsite casino for hours of fun, or walk next door to the Wynn’s XS Nightclub to burn it down to some excellent DJs, or visit Encore Beach Club (also next door at the Wynn complex) for one of the best pool parties in Las Vegas!

Oh, and did we mention that Canyon Ranch Spa, the award-winning spa shared between The Venetian and The Palazzo, has a rock climbing wall inside?

The Venetian Las Vegas

Verdict: BEST FOR CONVENIENCE

Price Range: $$$

Similar to The Palazzo, The Venetian has a lot going for it. While we love the room sizes at The Palazzo more, we love the hotel amenities and attractions at The Venetian.

We’d actually rate this hotel as being slightly more convenient than The Palazzo because of the fact that so many of the property’s top restaurants are located in this tower, as is TAO, the resort’s ultra-popular dayclub/nightclub.

What this means is that you’ll never really have to leave the hotel for a full weekend of entertainment. Unless you want to, that is!

Pros

Almost twice the size of your average Las Vegas hotel room

Top luxury hotel on the Strip

Dayclub and nightclub on-site

Home to the bachelor party-favorite show, Atomic Saloon Show

Cons

It’s a more expensive hotel

Anything more than the standard suite is going to be quite pricey

Higher minimums for table games

Less central (on the northern end of the Strip)

The Venetian King Suite
Courtesy of The Venetian

We covered a lot of the perks at The Venetian/Palazzo above.

At The Venetian specifically, though, standard rooms are just a tad smaller than those at The Palazzo, which is why we didn’t designate this hotel as the ‘Best Overall’. Having said that, we do like the fact that a lot of the main restaurants, bars, and shows are in this portion of the adjoining hotels.

Alongside the standard suites, the hotel features two other room categories: Premier Suites and Signature Suites. For all-out bachelor parties with high (or non-existent) budgets, we’d recommend opting for the latter — you’re just going to get so much more space with the extra living areas and semi-formal dining areas.

Two standout suites for those of you who fall into the ‘going all out’ bucket are Penthouse Suite (2 bedrooms and 3,000 feet of space) and the even better Presidential Suite (that’s comprised of 3-4 bedrooms, a living area, dining room, massage parlor, full bar, and workout room).

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Verdict: BEST PARTY SUITES

Price Range: $$$

The vibe at The Cosmo has always been young, trendy, and elevated. If the bachelor party attendees are in their 20s to 30s, they are going to love it here.

Plus, the fact that you’ll find a plethora of things to do at the hotel only makes it that much better. The 20 restaurants, 8 bars/lounges, onsite nightclub/dayclub, and 2 poolside bars are basically all you need for a sweet weekend of celebrating.

If you’re able to snag a room with a balcony (like the Wraparound Terrace Suite, Terrace Studio, etc.), make this the party room. Sipping on drinks out there while watching the Fountains of Bellagio is like a rite of passage for bachelor party-goers.

Pros

Hotspot for food, nightlife, and entertainment options

Amazing location (Center Strip)

Known as the bachelor party hotel

Home to 3 speakeasies + Marquee Dayclub / Nightclub

Cons

Specialty suites are out of reach if you’re on a budget

Most rooms only fit a max of 4 people

Crowded public areas = longer waits

Can be noisier than other hotels

The rooms at the Cosmo were almost built with bachelor parties and birthdays in mind. Pregaming is next level here, since many rooms come with balconies that you can actually step out of to enjoy the views. This is hard to find — many hotels have sealed windows that you can just stare out of.

To live it up in style, we recommend splurging on one Wraparound Terrace Suite With Fountain Views for the bachelor party. Because of the epic setup (and the stellar views you get), use this room as the party room where everyone meets up and pregames before heading out for the night. To save money on the rest of the rooms, you can get everyone else the basic city rooms with 2 queen beds.

All in all, we can’t say enough good things about The Cosmo. It’s centrally located, jam-packed with approachable/trendy restaurants, bars, and things to do, and is home to Marquee Dayclub/Nightclub. Everything you need for a successful bachelor party will be right at your fingertips.

The Signature at MGM Grand

Verdict: BEST FOR PEACE AND QUIET

Price Range: $$

Within this all-suite hotel, there are three room options — Tower Suites, Junior Suites, and Deluxe Suites. Even the standard rooms clock in at a minimum of 550 square feet and come with 1 king bed and 1 sofa bed, meaning it’ll comfortably fit 4 guys each (if sharing beds is not an issue).

Adjoining rooms are also available upon request and availability, which is perfect for early-bird party planners.

MGM Grand is literally attached to this hotel, meaning you’ll be pretty close to all the action without being in the midst of all the riff-raff.

And if you need suggestions or party planning help, their MGM Resorts Social Occasions is the perfect resource to help you book your itinerary so you can focus more on having fun and less on worrying about what’s happening next!

Pros

Spacious suites ideal for groups

Amazing location (Center Strip)

More private and upscale compared to MGM Grand

Has its own private pools + access to MGM Grand’s pool complex

Cons

Fewer dining and entertainment options

The quiet atmosphere may be too quiet

A bit of a walk to MGM Grand’s amenities

Signature at MGM Grand
Courtesy of MGM Resorts

The Signature at MGM Grand is a luxe yet affordable hotel located on the Las Vegas Strip that merges a luxury resort with the amenities of a timeshare (like a real kitchen and living space)!

It’s situated close to MGM Grand, Garden Arena and Dolby Live, and a great choice for any bachelor party looking to balance bougie-ness with budget.

While The Signature itself doesn’t have too much to sing about, you can easily walk into the MGM Grand for some of the best restaurants, shows, and attractions on the entire Strip.

For your quintessential bach-party meal, head just next door to the MGM Grand for Joël Robuchon, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Morimoto Las Vegas, Hakkasan Restaurant, and much, much more!

For nightlife, you’ll have easy access to Hakkasan Nightclub or Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand.

Flamingo Las Vegas

Verdict: BEST FOR BUDGET TRAVELERS

Price Range: $

Flamingo Las Vegas is our favorite option when it comes to budget-friendly bachelor party hotels. On a normal weekday, room rates hardly ever creep up above $40 per night (for standard rooms).

Of course, there’s still the nightly resort fee to keep in mind, but it’s still substantially cheaper than most options on the Las Vegas Strip.

Plus, the fact that the resort’s atmosphere is casual yet party-friendly makes this a great choice for groups looking to turn up the dial for the weekend.

Pros

Amazing location (Center Strip)

Caters to a budget-minded party crowd

Affordable pool cabana and bottle packages

Located next to The LINQ (lots to do)

Cons

Not all rooms are renovated

No notable shows onsite

No notable restaurants onsite

GO-Pool-at-Flamingo-Las-Vegas
GO Pool at Flamingo | Courtesy of Caesars Entertainment

Flamingo is perfect for people who don’t need anything fancy. Some people require rooms that cost no less than $400 per night. Some people simply don’t want to shell out hundreds of dollars to just sleep (or… pass out).

One major perk of staying at The Flamingo? You can get a pretty large suite for the cost of a standard room at a 4- or 5-star hotel on the Strip. Talk about value!

For larger groups, we’d recommend getting the Cosmopolitan Suite at the Flamingo (800-900 sq ft) and using that as the main party room, then getting a couple of standard 2-queen rooms to accommodate everyone else. If you want to fit more people in the Cosmopolitan Suite you can also bring a couple of air mattresses (don’t forget the inflation pump)!

Flamingo’s party atmosphere is pretty lively (like at the GO Pool), so you’ll never feel bored throughout the day. Plus, the fact that it’s next to The LINQ Hotel + Promenade means lots of affordable eats, bars, and shows!

Ultimately, if you want your dollar to stretch further while staying super centrally located, you just can’t beat Flamingo.

BONUS: Circa Resort & Casino (Off-Strip)

Circa Las Vegas Stadium Swim
Circa Stadium Swim | Courtesy of Ryan Gobuty

We had to add Circa Resort & Casino to our list because it’s such an exciting addition to downtown Las Vegas. If the guys attending this bachelor party are into sports and don’t mind being further away from the Strip, this is the top Off-Strip hotel you need to consider.

One of its standout features is Stadium Swim, a massive pool complex with six rooftop pools heated for year-round enjoyment. The centerpiece of Stadium Swim is a 143-foot screen that displays all kinds of sports events, creating a unique game-watching experience while enjoying the pool. You can even elevate your stay with cabana/daybed rentals.

Another highlight is Circa’s sportsbook, which is the largest in the world.

They have some pretty nice suites too (which is rare to find in the Fremont Street area!). The Bunk Pad is a must for guys who want their own beds. This room has 2 double bunk beds that room 4 people, plus double sinks in the bathroom, and a nice kitchen counter to stash all the drinks for the weekend. You could easily get two of these to fit 8 people total.

What Makes A Good Las Vegas Hotel For A Bachelor Party?

There are some things that can make or break a Las Vegas hotel when it comes to finding the perfect accommodation for a bachelor party. Single king bed? One sink in the bathroom? NOPE that is not going to work — thanks, next!

Here are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a hotel for your group:

Location

Look for a hotel that is centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip OR at least close to the restaurants/clubs you plan to visit. Being (relatively) close to the spots you plan on visiting will mean less time commuting and less taxi/rideshare costs.

For example, if you plan on dining at Superfrico and going to Marquee Nightclub for the night (both of which are in The Cosmo), it could make a lot of sense to just base yourself out of The Cosmopolitan for the bachelor party trip.

That way, you won’t incur a single charge for taxi rides that night. And, you can even head back to the room to rest and freshen up for the club! The ultimate convenience!

Room Size

Make sure the hotel has a variety of room options to accommodate your group size and budget. Some hotels offer standard suites that fit up to 6 already, which is a huge perk for people who don’t want to spend their entire budget on room costs.

Some hotels even offer connecting rooms that can provide more space for larger groups.

Most hotels offer penthouse suites too, but they’ll often cost an arm and a leg compared to their standard rooms.

Amenities

Look for a hotel that offers amenities you’d value for your bachelor party, such as outdoor pools that host pool parties (as opposed to being family-friendly hangout spots), good steakhouses/dinner restaurants, special events, and nightclub options.

Take Caesars Palace for one. Caesars Palace houses Montecristo Cigar Bar, which combines a cigar lounge with a fine spirits bar. You’ll find one of the best shows in Vegas here, Absinthe, as well as several nightlife venues like Omnia Nightclub.

Another example is The Cosmopolitan. The Cosmo has the Vesper Bar, The Chandelier Bar, as well as three different speakeasies, which is more than ideal for guys who wanna indulge in good drinks and good vibes over the weekend. You’ll also find an endless amount of good food at the hotel, as well as rooftop pools and the Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub, which are perfect for bachelor parties.

Group Packages

Some hotels offer special packages for bachelor parties that include things like VIP nightclub access, room blocks, spa treatments, group dinners, discounts on shows, and other perks only available to large groups.

Here are a couple inquiry pages to check out if you want done-for-you bachelor party packages:

  • Caesars Entertainment – Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Horseshoe Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, The LINQ Hotel + Experience, Flamingo Las Vegas, The Cromwell
  • MGM Resorts – Bellagio, ARIA Resort & Casino, Vdara Hotel & Spa, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Park MGM, NY-NY, Luxor Hotel & Casino, Excalibur Hotel & Casino

Price

This one’s pretty self-explanatory, but you’ll wanna make sure the total cost of the hotel room works with the bachelor party attendees.

Make sure to factor in all the additional fees, such as resort fees and parking fees before booking the hotel for the party!
