Las Vegas is the ultimate playground for those who crave unique, immersive experiences. This city is full of quirky, immersive experiences that go way beyond the typical tourist stuff.
How about getting trapped in an escape room inspired by IT or Blair Witch? Or maybe you’d rather lose yourself in the surreal world of Omega Mart by Meow Wolf.
Feeling adventurous? You could dine in complete darkness, letting all your other senses take over.
And don’t even get me started on the themed dinner-and-a-show experiences—Vegas does them like nowhere else.
Whether you’re interested in spending your afternoon in a museum dedicated to optical illusions or spending a few hours feeling like you’re in another world entirely, Vegas has you covered. Here are a handful of the most immersive experiences and attractions in town.
1. Get competitive at Play Playground
Luxor’s newest attraction, Play Playground, offers a 15,000-square-foot play experience featuring over 20 larger-than-life nostalgic games.
The activities inside this massive venue are made for friendly competition and social media sharing, boast physical, memory, puzzle, and team games — all of which will surely lead to a day (or night) of good ol’ fashioned fun with your friends!
From Perfect Popper, a game reminiscent of the board game “Perfection,” to Ringer Run, where players navigate a wand through a hanging maze, and Biggle Ball, a collaborative effort to guide a ball through a massive maze—the variety of team games promises an interactive experience full of laughs.
NOTE: All ages are welcome until 5:00 PM and must be accompanied by an adult. Games are most enjoyable for guests aged 10 and up. After 5:00 PM, Playground access is 21+.
2. Do a themed escape room
I don’t know about you, but I am OBSESSED with escape rooms. Especially ones that actually TRY to make you feel like you’re in another world (and not just a room).
Good news… Vegas has got some next-level escape rooms. If you’re into a slight horror mix, try the IT-themed (yes, the scary clown) or SAW-themed escape rooms for an extra fun experience — especially if someone in your group gets scared super easily!
There’s also another highly-rated horror-themed escape room called The Basement, with unbelievable realism and live performers. Once you master this one, try out their sequel room called The Study!
For less scary options, check out Number 1 Escape Room and Escapology, which often offer pretty steep discounts on Groupon. Both have amazing reviews and have really immersive rooms!
This attraction is included with the Go City Las Vegas pass!
We love exploring new cities around the world with Go City! With the Go City Las Vegas pass, you can save up to 50% off attractions and access 50+ attractions for one low price. To see if this pass is worth it for you, check out all the activities that are included with either the All-Inclusive Pass or the Explorer Pass.
3. Enjoy “Italian American psychedelic” cuisine at Superfrico
Superfrico, brought to you by Spiegelworld, the creative minds behind the amazing show Absinthe, promises an unforgettable fusion of “Italian American psychedelic” cuisine and entertainment. In fact, they’ve even deemed themselves “Las Vegas’ most Las Vegiest place”.
Superfrico offers diners a front-row seat to the madness, with performers weaving in and out of the kitchen and dining areas.
With themed bars, lounges, and dining rooms galore, expect wall-to-wall eye candy and impromptu amusements across the entire venue — all with a bumpin’ soundtrack courtesy of the Strip’s only all vinyl, all the time DJ.

Itinerary Idea
Follow up your meal with one of two things:
- Experience even MORE Spiegelworld magic: Absinthe or Atomic Saloon Show – we’re personally obsessed with all things Spiegelworld!
- Grab a drink at one of many speakeasies hidden inside The Cosmo
4. Go to Heart Attack Grill for the ultimate food coma
Heart Attack Grill is one of the weirdest restaurants in Las Vegas. This hospital-themed restaurant in downtown Las Vegas has become internationally famous for embracing and promoting an unhealthy diet of incredibly large, multi-patty hamburgers.
Customers are referred to as “patients”, orders as “prescriptions”, and waitresses as “nurses”. Anyone who weighs over 350 pounds is invited to enjoy unlimited free food provided they weigh themselves on an electronic cattle scale in front of a cheering restaurant crowd.
When you dine there, they’ll go as far as to dress you up in a hospital gown! If you don’t finish your plate a “nurse” will come over with a paddle and humiliate you by announcing you couldn’t finish to everyone.
You’ll even get spanked for not finishing… like I said — it’s a strange place that you won’t find anywhere else!
5. Discover the kooky world of Omega Mart
Described as the weirdest and most psychedelic grocery store, Omega Mart (by the ultra-creative minds at Meow Wolf) is an art installation where everything, including the quirky items on display, is available for purchase.
This other-worldly art exhibit invites participants of all ages to step into new and surreal worlds, where storytelling takes on a trippy and playful form! Within the whimsical aisles of Omega Mart, you’ll find a ton of hilarious products that exist just to confuse you.
Even though this exhibit is on the pricier side compared to other attractions at AREA15, it’s still the best bang for your buck if you consider its size and how long on average people take to get through the experience.
Your experience will be equal parts glitchy, campy, colorful, and very Instagrammable!
6. Explore the rest of AREA15
AREA15 has got to be one of the coolest additions to Las Vegas, like ever! And it’s way more than just Omega Mart!
This 200,000-square-foot immersive art collective is buzzing with all things creative and imaginative. Throw an axe or two, play games at an arcade bar, take in high-tech / colorful art installations, or explore one of the many virtual reality experiences.
Expect everything from retro to futuristic to totally trippy. One thing’s for sure — your experience will be immersive. The AREA15 world is your oyster!
If special events and concerts are what you’re after, check out their events calendar to see what’s happening during the dates of your trip to Vegas. A good amount of these events are 18+ (but must be 21+ to consume alcohol).
7. See the retro side of Vegas at The Neon Museum
Since 1996, the Neon Museum has collected, preserved, and exhibited Las Vegas signs from the 1930’s onward. The most popular attraction here is the Neon Boneyard of signs!
You can check out the visitor’s center, view the collection within the museum, partake in one of the many special tours taking place throughout the day, or stroll through the boneyard on your own.
During our latest visit, we saw the Brilliant! Jackpot light show created by artist Craig Winslow. This immersive experience reanimates 40 monumental examples of The Neon Museum’s iconic vintage signs and will take you through the history of Las Vegas through music and lights. You’ll hear a lot of songs from the 80s and 90s, but it’s still so much fun for all ages!
The Neon Museum is mostly outdoors and is extremely photogenic, so don’t forget your sunscreen and your camera.
8. Snap a selfie with demogorgons at the Stranger Things store
The Stranger Things Store at the Showcase Mall is an incredibly fun and fantastic find when it comes to free entertainment. If you are a Stranger Things fan like we are, this is a must-visit!
The Stranger Things Store is technically a merch store, but they have far more entertainment than a normal store would have.
Visitors can do so much here for free! You can explore iconic show locations such as the Palace Arcade, Hawkins High, Starcourt Mall, and Vecna’s attic, and even interact with some of the displays (some of which are very Vecna-heavy). The store also provides some super cool photo ops like Will Beyers’ living room.
If you want to bring home a memorabilia or two, you can choose from so many products from the show, down to little containers of ice cream from Scoops Ahoy.
9. Be wowed by the Sphere Experience
To quickly sum it up, the Sphere Experience is a two-part multi-sensory experience lasting ~two hours. In all honesty, it’s two hours of immersive amazement, perfect for people of all ages.
It was even voted “2024’s Best Attraction” by Las Vegas Weekly readers! After seeing it for ourselves this summer, we 100% see why it’s the top attraction in town.
For the first 45 minutes of the experience, you’ll get to explore The Atrium. There’s a bunch of high-tech stuff here to look at, such as a 50-foot holographic installation, some advanced-looking talking/moving robots, and a few other cool tech features to interact with.
From there, you head into the theater for an immersive cinematic experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen — Darren Aronofsky’s Postcard from Earth. This specially commissioned film is a sci-fi portrait of our planet, transporting you to new worlds without ever leaving your seat.
10. Electric Playhouse
Standing as one of the newest attractions on the Strip, Electric Playhouse gives you the chance to play motion-activated games that don’t require any controllers or headsets—just you and your moves!
Electric Playhouse first made waves in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where it quickly became a local hit for its one-of-a-kind immersive experiences. Combining cutting-edge projection technology with physical activity and family-friendly fun, it drew crowds looking for something beyond the usual arcade or theater setup.
This wild success sparked the idea to expand, and now Electric Playhouse is bringing its playful energy and innovative approach to entertainment right to the Las Vegas Strip!
This interactive playground features 16 unique spaces filled with projection games like Can Blaster, Light Hockey, and Paint Pong. Come dressed to play — some games involve physical activity including running, jumping, and quick lateral movement. Tickets start at a wallet-friendly $15.
11. The Magician’s Study
The Magician’s Study is not your average Las Vegas show. First things first: every show is very small and intimate, yet so interactive and fun!
Your magician for the night will be a mysterious man in a (rather sinister-looking) rabbit helmet. He takes it off pretty quickly, at which point you’ll then realize that you’re dealing with an Australian guy –we’ll leave him unnamed– who was in Australia’s Got Talent.
At this point, the most intimate magic show on the Strip will commence! And with an audience of no more than 60 people, you are very close to all the magic!
Access to this secret, small-scale show is by invitation only. It’s not heavily marketed, nor is it on sale to the general public. To get tickets, you’ll have to go to their site and follow the directions. Those fortunate to be invited will receive a codeword that unlocks the ticketing page.
12. Eat with your hands at Tournament of Kings
Tournament of Kings is Las Vegas’ ultimate dinner-and-a-show experience, perfect for families and medieval-era jousting fans.
Set in a 900-seat theater arena, this immersive production retells the story of King Arthur and features valiant knights, majestic steeds, special effects, and pyrotechnics.
The arena comes alive with the clash of swords, the thundering hooves of horses, and the cheers of the audience. As knights engage in epic battles, guests are transported back to a world of knights, damsels, and medieval life!
Tournament of Kings is such an interactive dining experience. Oh, and forget utensils — guests feast on a hearty meal using their hands, embracing the authenticity of medieval dining!
Itinerary Idea
After your Tournament of Kings dinner show, head to the hotel’s massive Fun Dungeon arcade for some high-energy game time! From there, head next door to NY-NY for thrills by night. The Big Apple Coaster is way more fun when the Strip is lit up with lights.
13. Marriage Can Be Murder Dinner Show
For folks who love murder mysteries, interactive dinners, and/or immersive experiences in general, we’ve got JUST the thing for you!
Marriage Can Be Murder is an award-winning interactive comedy and murder mystery dinner experience where the audience members become part of the show. If you liked the movie Glass Onion or the game of Clue, then this is a dinner show that you won’t want to pass up.
Anyone can be a suspect as actors could easily be posting as one of the seemingly innocent guests among you. You might be seated next to the murderer, YOU may even be suspected of murder, but only time will tell as the night unravels and more clues are revealed.
Get ready to be part of the story as you chow down on your salad, warm rolls, a chicken or beef entree, and ice cream dessert.
14. Blackout Dining In The Dark
BLACKOUT is a dining-in-the-dark experience that takes you on a sensory journey like no other. In total darkness, you’ll savor a seven-course mystery meal that heightens your senses of taste, touch, smell, and hearing.
Guided by staff equipped with night-vision goggles, you’ll be seated and served without any visual distractions. Expect a pre-fixed menu featuring soup, appetizers, entrees, and desserts, all revealed only after your meal.
I’ve always wanted to do something like this, except I have no one to go with because all my friends are convinced they’re going to be fed brains or other crazy things. If this is your idea of fun, experience it for me and report back — please and thanks!
15. Museum of Selfies
The Museum of Selfies is an interactive exhibit perfect for teenagers, photo enthusiasts, and the social media obsessed. Nestled in the entertainment hub of the LINQ Promenade, this “museum” offers a ton of playful and quirky backdrops for what will end up being your most memorable pics.
Dive into a shimmering gold bathtub, make waves in an emoji-filled pool, jet-set in a private plane, or flip the world upside down in a gravity-defying room. You’ll definitely want to bring a camera!
The Museum of Selfies originally made its mark in Southern California — we’re glad it’s here in Vegas so that younger visitors have more to do on the Strip now.
16. Museum of Illusions
Stick your logic in the closet and let the power of your mind take center stage — at least for the few hours you’re at the Museum of Illusions.
Having gained popularity through its many other installations seen across 25 countries and counting, this museum has impressed museum-goers with its perspective-changing rooms, mind-boggling installations, and optical illusions that challenge your perceptions and your senses.
Hang out with your clones, swap noses with friends, or serve your head on a platter in rooms designed to boggle the mind and spark laughter. You can also stroll through upside-down rooms, experience the thrill of infinity, and play with the concept of size manipulation all in one place.
17. Paradox Museum
Mindbending optical illusions and reality-defying photo opportunities await you at the Paradox Museum.
Inside the museum, you’ll find that nothing makes sense, and yet everything is totally real! It may look like a small place from the outside but upon entering, you’ll find 70+ exhibits, activities, and displays.
Have your expectations turned on its head as you wander through the series of topsy-turvy rooms inside. Enter the Upside Down Room where objects – and you – appear to defy gravity; have your sense of perspective challenged in the Reverse Room; take a walk on the weird side in the Paradox Tunnel; and take a seat on the Paradox Sofa, where you may find you struggle to hold yourself together.
Half the fun of these exhibits is trying to understand how exactly they’re tricking your mind! If that’s too much on the brain, just enjoy the fun and snag yourself some of the coolest selfies in town.
This attraction is included with the Go City Las Vegas pass!
We love exploring new cities around the world with Go City! With the Go City Las Vegas pass, you can save up to 50% off attractions and access 50+ attractions for one low price. 18. VR Adventures at The LINQ Promenade
VR Adventures is one of those attractions that’ll get teens, games, and tech lovers excited.
Unlike other video games, VR Adventures requires gamers to use hand movement, walk, sidestep, or jump to explore or fly through the virtual world. And they have six different experiences to choose from.
Feel the rush as you brave the rapids of the Jungle River Raft, explore spine-tingling encounters in the Haunted Elevator, test your survival skills in the heart-pounding Zombieland adventure, and more.
PRO TIP: You can buy the experience for full price, OR you can get yourself that Las Vegas attraction pass we mentioned above. The Go City Las Vegas Explorer Pass gives you the option to access 1 VR Experience.
19. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
Wanna get up close and personal with your favorite celebs? Madame Tussauds Las Vegas is a two-story attraction nestled within The Venetian Resort filled with over 80 meticulously crafted wax figures representing iconic celebrities from film, television, and music.
All the figures are crafted with such realism that they might just fool your family into believing you partied with Drake and Justin Bieber!
Unlike meeting real celebrities, Madame Tussauds offers a unique advantage – you can touch, pose, and take unlimited selfies with all the lifelike figures. Bad Bunny, Megan Thee Stallion, Beyoncé, RuPaul, Kim K., Post Malone, The Avengers, and Brad Pitt are just a few of the famous faces you can expect to see here.
20. FlyOver
FlyOver is a unique flight motion experience, where you’ll be suspended in a seat that swoops, dips, and turns, giving you the true sensation of flying. If you’ve ever ridden Soarin’ at Disney’s California Adventure, it’s a lot like that.
You’ll soar over, around, and through landscapes, experiencing the sensation of flight with your feet dangling before a massive 52-foot spherical screen.
Choose from four flight ride experiences: Wonders of the American West, Legendary Iceland, Canadian Rockies, or Believe Chicago, each offering breathtaking landscapes for you to ogle at.
21. Awakening at Wynn
If you ever find yourself in Vegas itching to watch a show but don’t know which to go with, don’t bother with any other shows.
Awakening is THE BEST THING TO HIT VEGAS. Yes, in our opinion, it’s even better than The Sphere.
As Wynn’s newest show, Awakening has already wowed massive audiences with its combination of dramatic choreography, fantastical creatures, original musical score, and narration by none other than Anthony Hopkins.
Expect quite the variety show — there’s dancing, graceful aerialist acts, acrobatics, magic, drama, comedy, singing, acting, lights/lasers, and crazy good production value, but best of all… amazing costuming.
So much fantasy! So many mermaids — so many lights! The whole thing was absolutely spectacular. If you love fantasy and colors, this show is a must.
22. The FRIENDS Experience
You might have seen this experience in other major cities around the world, but Vegas is finally getting its very own FRIENDS™ Experience as a part of the show’s 30th anniversary year-long celebration!
Voted as one of USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Best New Attractions and included in CNN’s 12 Best Immersive Experiences around the world, The FRIENDS™ Experience features several nostalgia-packed rooms and activities.
Fans can interact with meticulously recreated sets, such as Central Perk, where they can sit on the famous orange couch! Monica’s kitchen is another highlight, complete with a chance to peek inside the fridge. You can even pose with the fountain and umbrellas from the opening credits. ICONIC.
23. Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
Head to the Bellagio to see the beautiful (and free) Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, featuring larger-than-life floral displays that change seasonally.
Each season, the talented Horticulture and Engineering teams transform the 14,000-square-foot Botanical Gardens into a showcase of inspiring sights, sounds, scents, and colors!
Depending on when you go, you’ll be able to enjoy a different landscape featuring Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, along with a special display for Lunar New Year.
We’ve seen more of these than we can count on both hands, yet we keep coming back because they’re all so spectacularly pretty.
24. Ultimate 4-D Experience
If you’re looking for something more fun than just watching a movie with the kids, the Ultimate 4-D Experience may really pique your interest!
This Fun Dungeon attraction (located at The Excalibur) combines high-definition 3-D projection with extra special effects, making YOU an integral part of the story and taking your entertainment experience to a whole new dimension.
You can choose between a few different shows, including Aquaman, Scooby Doo, and DC League of Super-Pets.
25. Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum
Looking for a disgustingly spooky activity near Downtown Las Vegas? Horror lovers will feel right at home at Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum.
Zak Bagans is the guy that hosts the popular paranormal TV show Ghost Adventures. Yeah, you’ve probably seen it on TV at one point in your life. Known for his fascination with the supernatural, Bagans curated this museum to house his extensive collection of haunted objects and oddities.
There are over 30 rooms filled with haunted artifacts, creepy memorabilia, and spine-chilling exhibits. You can expect to see items like the Dybbuk Box, a supposedly cursed wine cabinet, and Dr. Kevorkian’s death van, among other unsettling relics.
While we would personally never set foot in this place (we are chickens), we think it’s perfect for people who love the idea of ghosts — if these kinds of people are even out there! Well, given how many stellar reviews this museum has, we’ve determined that these people are definitely out there.
