During the month of October, Las Vegas hosts a number of fall celebrations, parades, costume balls, and spooky events to celebrate Halloween!

For adults looking to party, you could head to AREA15’s Halloween event, scAREA15, or maybe party it up at Halloweekend at Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World Las Vegas. Slightly off-strip, there’s the not-to-be-missed Sin City Halloween Ball for people who take their creative costumes seriously.

For a more casual (and totally free) experience, The Fremont Street Experience hosts its massive weekend-long Halloween street party with live music, costume contests, and more.

Got kids with you? Don’t miss the many pumpkin patches and kid-friendly parades taking place across town.

There’s so much more to experience throughout the city — and the best part? Many of these Halloween-themed events kick off early, so you can dive into the spooky fun all month long—not just during Halloween weekend!

Because many of these events are harder to find if you’re not already in the know, we’ve created this guide to help you find the perfect event for your Halloween in Vegas.

Depending on who you’re visiting with, you can jump to the section that makes more sense for you:

Halloween In Las Vegas: Things To Do For Adults

Candlelight Concerts

Wanna get spooky in a classical music kind of way?

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Las Vegas. For two days only, discover Halloween-inspired music at The Industrial under the gentle glow of candlelight.

Catch all your Halloween favorites like Thriller by Michael Jackson, the Stranger Things theme song, and songs from Halloween classics such as Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Halloween, Psycho, Ghostbusters, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and so much more.

Candlelight shows are unique as heck — where venues are illuminated by hundreds of warm and atmospheric candles — but mix it with Halloween songs? We already know it’s going to be a spectacularly magical time.

Ghost Stories at 1923 Prohibition Bar

1923 Prohibition Bar Las Vegas

Get into the Halloween spirit with Ghost Stories at 1923 Prohibition Bar, a perfectly themed event for the spooky season.

In a secret chamber, hidden behind the 1923 Prohibition Bar in Las Vegas, Kent Axell performs feats of mind reading and magic, immersing the audience in the creation of a live ghost story.

Taking place every Friday and Saturday, this eerie, dark, yet somehow still fun magic show blends dreams and nightmares into a chillingly immersive experience. If you’re put off by large, overly polished productions (like those of Criss Angel and David Copperfield), this intimate show is a great one to catch.

The venue itself is a hidden speakeasy inside Mandalay Bay that’ll transport you back to the 1920s with its bourbon-focused menu, vintage decor, and live entertainment, including burlesque dancers and piano players.

Don’t miss your opportunity to enjoy scary stories and mind games in this swanky venue — this intimate parlor show is for a limited time only.

Haunted House Attraction: Hotel Fear

Enter the twisted history of Hotel Fear, where the eerie past of the Feoray family continues to haunt its halls.

Once a promising hotel meant to serve visitors to the nearby Meadview Asylum, the hotel turned into a site of tragedy when Mortimer Feoray, believed to be cured of his mental condition, snapped and killed everyone inside—except for one mysterious guest in Room 13. Now, visitors brave enough to stay at the hotel may encounter the lingering spirits of the Feoray Incident. Are you ready to face the fear?

Technically there is no age limit for this haunted house attraction, but we suggest not bringing kids who are easily frightened!

While not a Halloween-themed event per se, this one’s still a lot of fun for people who want to have a fun meal during their trip.

BLACKOUT is a dining-in-the-dark experience that takes you on a sensory journey like no other. In total darkness, you’ll savor a seven-course mystery meal that heightens your senses of taste, touch, smell, and hearing.

Guided by staff equipped with night-vision goggles, you’ll be seated and served without any visual distractions. Expect a pre-fixed menu featuring soup, appetizers, entrees, and desserts, all revealed only after your meal.

I’ve always wanted to do something like this, except I have no one to go with because all my friends are convinced they’re going to be fed brains or other crazy things. If this is your idea of fun, experience it for me and report back — please and thanks!
