If you can tear yourself away from the fun, gluttony, and debauchery that is Vegas and want to get your fitness on, choose your hotel wisely!
Las Vegas may be home to some of the best hotels in Nevada, but not all hotel gyms are built equally!
Some hotels offer cramped fitness centers with outdated equipment from the 90’s (choosing to splurge on other parts of the hotel instead), while *much better* hotels prioritize the health/wellness of their guests, offering high-tech machines and state-of-the-art facilities that are hard to beat.
If you’re looking for the latest and greatest in workout equipment, fitness classes, and luxurious spa amenities to complement your routine, these hotels have got your fitness needs covered. Here is our list of the best hotel gyms on the Las Vegas Strip.
Resorts World Las Vegas
Boasting three Hilton-affiliated hotels within its 59-story structure, Resorts World is a hospitality giant. The Hilton properties include the Las Vegas Hilton, Conrad Las Vegas, and Crockfords Las Vegas under the LXR Hotel & Resorts brand.
With three different hotels sharing one expansive resort complex, you better believe that all the shared facilities are over-the-top nice. This includes the massive onsite gym!
The Resorts World Las Vegas Fitness Center epitomizes the latest technologies in personalized fitness programming and state-of-the-art equipment. You’ll find a free weights area, squat racks, a functional fitness / CrossFit area with artificial turf and a sled, Power Plate machines, TRX bands, punching bags, and a sizable cardio area with at least six Peleton bikes.
It’s insane how much top-notch gym equipment you’ll find here!
When your workout is complete, do NOT leave without taking advantage of the Stretch & Recovery Zone Powered By Therabody. There’s an entire rack of complimentary-use Theraguns and vibrating massage rollers for guests to relax and recover with!
Yoga, one-on-one personal training, massages, and assisted stretching classes are also available at an additional cost.
Fontainebleau Las Vegas
Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the Strip’s newest development, a 67-story resort that combines timeless elegance with modern amenities. It brings some pretty sweet dining options and entertainment to the North Las Vegas Strip area.
As the newest hotel on the Strip, the Fontainebleau’s gym facility stands out among the rest… big time! Just like the resort itself, the gym is large, upscale, and totally packed with tons of new equipment to play with. In a nutshell, it’s a UFC-like gym located on the Strip.
The 14,000-square-foot fitness center, included with the resort fee, provides state-of-the-art equipment and complimentary fitness classes such as yoga and pilates.
You can even relax in luxury after your workout. The resort’s two-level spa offers a range of indulgent treatments, including access to a steam room, snow showers, salt cave, and a vitality pool. The Oasis Pool Deck is also a major highlight, spanning six acres and offering seven distinct pool experiences.
The outdoor deck also features LIV Beach, a dayclub hotspot that almost always hosts world-class DJs.
The Venetian Resort
There is nothing better than starting your morning off with a workout at The Venetian’s award-winning Canyon Ranch Spa Club. In fact, it would be a shame to stay at The Venetian (or The Palazzo) without at least one workout there!
You’ll find all kinds of weight-lifting equipment, including free weights, squat racks, Smith machines, tons of cable machines, a separate room for Olympic lifts with extra barbells, bumper plates, and curl bars — and of course — plenty of cardio machines. There’s even a functional fitness area and a rock climbing wall here!
The equipment is all relatively modern, though not quite as high-tech as the Technogym-branded equipment you’ll find at places like ARIA. But honestly, the fitness center is massive — it probably has more workout equipment than most people’s home gyms!
As with most hotels, access to the fitness facility is included in the daily resort fee you pay in addition to your room rate.
All in all, The Venetian is among our top three favorite hotels to stay on The Strip. It’s got everything you need — a varied gym, great pools, endless restaurants, and so much entertainment (shows, day parties, and nightlife).
The Palazzo at The Venetian
The Palazzo is a sister tower to The Venetian and a highly-coveted resort in its own right. A stay at The Palazzo actually gives you access to the Canyon Ranch Spa Club mentioned above. Did we mention that Canyon Ranch is considered a “Forbes Travel Guide Four Star” spa?
In addition to all the gym equipment we mentioned above, you can partake in the spa club’s many fitness classes including morning yoga, HIIT, cycling, meditation, and more (at an additional cost).
So which is better — The Venetian or The Palazzo? Because the rooms at The Palazzo are slightly bigger than those at The Venetian, this is our go-to hotel when it comes to Vegas trips with larger groups.
The Palazzo is also closer to Wynn Las Vegas, which makes walking to Wynn’s XS Nightclub or visiting Encore Beach Club much easier to do.
Wynn Las Vegas
The Wynn Las Vegas is where people go to enjoy award-winning service from the highest-rated independent resort company in the world. You’ll easily recognize it by its copper façade, which rises above the Strip’s north end.
In terms of Las Vegas Strip hotels, we really don’t think you can get more luxurious than this!
We love this hotel for a few reasons: it’s home to Awakening (our all-time favorite show in Vegas), is one of the few hotels that offers free parking to guests, and has one of the best gyms on the Las Vegas Strip.
We had the pleasure of staying here a few months ago and were blown away by how big and spacious the gym was. You’ll find rows and rows of cardio equipment, plus a massive room of cable machines and free weights. It’s easily double or even triple the size of many other Vegas hotels.
And while many Las Vegas Strip hotels try to nickel and dime you whenever possible by charging for water, the Wynn is different. Mini water bottles are plentiful and free at the gym! There are even free fruits you can grab and go.
Aside from the gym, there’s a lot of other stuff to love here. High-end dining options at The Wynn are plentiful. You’ll even be able to catch the free Lake of Dreams show at a couple of the restaurants there. And don’t even get us started on the Buffet at The Wynn — it’s a must if all-you-can-eat is what you’re after!
For nightlife and entertainment, The Wynn Las Vegas simply CANNOT be beaten! You’ll have direct access to XS Nightclub for excellent DJs and Encore Beach Club for exceptional pool parties.
ARIA Resort & Casino
ARIA Resort & Casino, a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star destination, seamlessly blends architectural beauty with eco-friendly initiatives, showcasing a commitment to sustainability in every aspect around the 4-million-square-foot property.
Just as the rest of the hotel is impressive and high-tech, so is its fitness center.
Powered with innovative Technogym equipment, ARIA’s gym is where state-of-the-art facilities converge with personal service. You’re sure to find your favorite way to break a sweat with 6,000 square feet of equipment to choose from, including a rock climbing wall!
They offer all kinds of fitness classes/sessions on top of the awesome gym equipment: group classes (yoga, barre, HIIT), personal training, one-on-one stretching sessions, and even instructor-led hiking classes (all at an additional cost).
There are lots of wellness treatments offered too — infrared full-body composition, red light therapy, meditation, and sound bath therapy sessions. Yup, ARIA takes its wellness menu seriously.
Park MGM
Park MGM is a really good option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel option with a pretty decent gym. This 4-star resort was born in 2018, which means everything is still very new and well-maintained.
Park MGM’s fitness center/gym is a small but mighty one. In Vegas, typically newer hotels offer better, more state-of-the-art gym equipment, and this is 100% reflected at Park MGM’s gym — it’s definitely one of the nicer fitness centers among all the MGM Resorts properties.
They have everything you need for an effective workout: free weights, ellipticals, bikes, treadmills, and various cable machines for targeted training. There’s a separate room for yoga and self-led fitness routines, filled with things like mats, yoga balls, light weights, and medicine balls.
To give you a sense of gym size, there are about 8 treadmills in total — which is leagues better than other cramped hotel gyms that offer 4 or fewer. Best of all, the gym is open 24/7. This is a massive perk — not a lot of hotels offer 24/7 access to their fitness centers!
In addition to having a gym that gets the job done, the hotel is pretty darn comfortable too. Park MGM Las Vegas underwent a remarkable transformation in 2018, emerging anew following a multi-million-dollar facelift (previously it was the Monte Carlo — old and run down).
We personally love this hotel since it’s one of the rare non-smoking hotels on the Strip!
