What You Need To Know

Folks, this one is a must-see for tech lovers! It’s the newest attraction in Las Vegas and YOU’RE invited to experience the future of immersive storytelling.

Prepare for a revolutionary journey with ‘The Sphere Experience’ in Las Vegas, offering a two-part multi-sensory adventure lasting approximately two hours. Your immersive odyssey commences in the Atrium, where doors open at the specified time on your ticket, and you are guided by five interactive humanoid robots named Aura.

Aura Robot - The Atrium Sphere Las Vegas

This Atrium experience encompasses a 360-degree avatar capture, a mesmerizing 50-foot holographic installation, artwork crafted through machine learning, and an interactive demonstration of Sphere Immersive Sound powered by HOLOPLOT.

You can ask the robots questions to gain insights into the maximization of human potential through technology, all while being captivated by groundbreaking holographs, avatar captures, beam-forming sound displays, and the world’s largest Hypervsn display projecting a 50-foot-high holographic-like image.

Around one hour after your ticketed time, the second part of The Sphere Experience unfolds in the main venue bowl. Brace yourself for a multi-sensory cinematic experience at an unparalleled scale with Darren Aronofsky’s ‘Postcard from Earth.’

This specially commissioned film is a sci-fi portrait of our planet, skillfully leveraging Sphere’s cutting-edge technologies to transport you to new worlds without ever leaving your seat. You WILL be wowed by how high-def the visuals are… we certainly were!

Worth The Money Or Not?

In our opinion, The Sphere Experience is a tad overpriced. It’s a very neat experience, don’t get us wrong! But unless you really value advanced technology and high-definition at its finest, you might feel like you paid too much to watch a movie.

For us, because we were taking my parents who were super excited about this new attraction (they also don’t get out much), it was worth the money just to see them have fun and experience cutting-edge technology.

At the end of the day, you’re paying to see/talk to robots and watch a movie on a huge high-tech screen. We can’t deny that it was a super cool experience. But whether the experience is worth the money is entirely dependent on what you value.

Here’s the bottom line: The Sphere Experience is worth it if…

  • you’re a film buff or tech lover who enjoys next-level sound and visual effects
  • you don’t have high-tech attractions where you live
  • you want to see and interact with the talking robots (they’re half the fun of the whole experience!)
  • you want to experience creative visual storytelling and cinematography (the movie is certainly beautifully made)
  • you’re celebrating a special occasion and don’t mind the splurge
  • you’re traveling with people who are excited about the experience
  • you’re a fan of cutting-edge technology and immersive environments that transport you to another world
  • you love futuristic design and want to see the world’s largest LED screen in action
