PRO TIP: We actually bought our tickets on VEGAS.com and were surprised to find that the tickets (and the Ticketmaster fees) were cheaper than buying direct, even though Wynn was having a Late Night Show sale. We got seats in the Sapphire Level for about $30 cheaper than buying through Wynn/Ticketmaster. Plus, our view was amazing — since it’s a relatively intimate, circular theater, there’s no need to splurge for front-row seats.
Our Take
If you EVERRRR find yourself in Vegas, don’t bother with any other shows. Awakening is THE BEST THING TO HIT VEGAS. Yes, even better than The Sphere.
Expect quite the variety show — there’s dancing, graceful aerialist acts, acrobatics, magic, drama, comedy, singing, acting, lights/lasers, and crazy good production value, but best of all… amazing costuming.
So much fantasy! So many mermaids — so many lights! The whole thing was absolutely spectacular. If you love fantasy and colors, this show is a must.
I rated it a 20 out of 10 because it was so jaw-droppingly good. I’m also trying to make anyone and everyone I know experience this for themselves!
NOTE: Apparently, the original version of the show was a bit slow and ‘just okay’ (our Vegas-based friends watched this version when it first came out). The new and improved version (the one that we personally saw) was AMAZING. A must-watch that very likely beats most other shows in Vegas!
